Whether or not being single is happy depends on how u look at it. And therefore it differs from person to person.
Some people are very career oriented and therefore doesnt has time to go on date and they themselves feel that single is ok for them. They will have a lot of freedom and dont need to worry about their children and thus can focus more on their work. htey also have more time for recreation to relieve stress from work unlike those ppl who have their family.those ppl with family will need to settle family problems in their free time and therefore has less time available for their own recreation.
On the other hand, there are also some ppl that does not emphasizes so much on work, most of them which are girls who only want to find a guy and marry and live happily ever after. thats it, a simple life.
In conclusion, singles need to know what they want in life and do wad they feel they are happy.
