Being single.

Singlehood which also mean the state of being unmarried, and is quite common to see it nowadays. However, whether to remain single, it all based on ones’ preference. Therefore I can only say that different people have different opinion on remain single.

Being single can bring about some advantages. One of them will be having more freedom and privacy than those married couples have enjoyed. This is because being single can do whatever they want as they are not committed to a family. No one (beside their parents) will care about what he/she is doing. He/she will also no need to look after his/her family. For example, during Sunday, which is a family day for most, these singles can don’t need to stay at home and look after their children. In fact, women who are single can go out with friends during Sunday for some enjoyment, like shopping or having high-tea. Being single can also allow one to concentrate more on his/her careers as they no need to care about his/her family. This allows them to work hard and aim for the highest position they want. Also, the money they earned, they can spend all they want, as there are no families for them to take care of, and without the control by his/her partner.

Everything has its bad points, so being single do have its disadvantages too. For one to be single, he/she will feel lonely in the future. This is because there is no partner that you can stay with. Even though, at the start, you can have friends to hang out, but slowly once they get married, you will have no one to go out with, as they have to spend their time on their own family too. Also, your parents will not always be with you, as they may leave this world anytime. One who is single will not be cared by anyone, beside your own parents. So you will not feel the love that the married couples have.

In conclusion, I think that whether one will be happy with being single, it all depend on his/her own preference.
